Solar water pumping system is a renewable energy system that converts the solar energy into electricity for water pumping. Solar water pumping system is mainly composed of solar pump controller, solar arrays and water pump. It is capable of accomplishing applications of solar agriculture irrigation, solar desert control, solar water conservation and drought resistance, solar drip irrigation, solar infiltration irrigation, solar village water supply, solar seawater desalination, etc.
The solar water pumping system is mainly composed of three parts, i.e. solar cell array, solar pump controller and three-phase AC water pump.
The solar cell array consists of multiple solar cell modules to absorb solar radiation energy which is converted into electrical energy, providing the power for the entire system.
The solar pump controller is capable of controlling the system operation by converting the DC power generated from the solar cell array to AC power for water pump operation, and regulating the output frequency according to the variance of solar radiation intensity, achieving maximum power point tracking (MPPT) and efficient using of solar energy.
The water pump is driven by a three-phase AC motor, it pumps water from deep well and transfers the water into storage tank or directly to the irrigation system. Based on actual needs and installation conditions, various types of water pumps can be used for operation.
